Consolidating Student Loans
I am currently building two student loans. How long til I can apply for more loans?

I'm building two loans, one of them in absentia. How long after I consolidate before I am eligible for more federal loans if I go back to school?

You should not consolidate your loans until after you finish taking all of their loans for education at all because can only be consolidated once. If you take more loans after the consolidation, the end result will be more than a payment … somewhat defeat the consolidation purposes. While you are not in default on any student loan, you can get new federal student loans.
